A police officer who is employed by a second class township on a part-time basis but who is on call at any and all times for normal police duties is “a regular fulltime police officer” within the meaning of the police tenure Act of 1951, P. L. 586, § 2 (which provides “No person employed as a regular full time police officer in any . . . township of the second class . . . shall be suspended or removed except for the following reasons . . .”) and cannot be removed at will.
